Terms of Service

ProofPack provides a mobile and web application for creating before-and-after job reports with photos, PDF generation, and optional cloud sync across approved devices. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated, changed, or discontinued at any time.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You may not share your account credentials with other people. Each subscription plan permits use on a defined number of devices — sharing credentials to circumvent device limits is a breach of these Terms.

ProofPack offers a free tier and paid subscription plans (Solo and Team). Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial months unless required by applicable law.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. You will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect.

Reports, photos, and business information you create in ProofPack belong to you. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data is stored in your own cloud account with row-level security — only you can access it.

You can export a full backup of your data at any time from the Devices & Sync screen. You can delete your account and all associated data from your account settings.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Create fraudulent or misleading reports
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms without prior notice.

ProofPack and its original content (excluding your reports and data) are and remain the exclusive property of The BVL. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

You retain full ownership of the reports and content you create using the Service. By using the Service you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The BVL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, where The BVL is registered. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, meaning you may also seek relief in your local jurisdiction where required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you have under the mandatory laws of the country in which you reside. If any provision of these Terms conflicts with your local mandatory laws, that provision shall be superseded to the minimum extent necessary to comply with those laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
